This suitcase was used by Salvador Dalí on his definitive return to Spain in 1948, aboard the transatlantic ship S.S. America. The suitcase still bears the baggage tag filled out by Dalí himself, featuring the names of the Salvador Dalí couple, the name of the transatlantic ship S.S. America, the date of February 14, 1948, cabin details, and the destination port of Havre.
The preservation condition is good, and the fabric-lined interior is in perfect condition.
